The Marc Dunworth
Foundation
for the Performing Arts

Our goal is to bring performing arts to communities that are currently “art deserts”.

Introducing minds to the possibility of creating a moving masterpiece in a way that doesn’t involve typical obstacles and hurdles.

Providing free to inexpensive workshops that involve stimulating exercises and challenging, hands-on introductions to the performing arts.

About us

The Marc Dunworth Foundation for the Performing Arts is a non-profit organization founded to promote and encourage the performing arts, especially the puppetry arts, through grants, scholarships, performances, and education.

Our organization was founded in 2018 in memory of Marc Dunworth. Marc was a talented puppeteer who fell in love with puppetry as a young boy and pursued the puppetry arts throughout his life. He worked under, and with, many skilled individuals in the puppetry community, eventually writing and performing his own shows. His dedication and love for the art of puppetry and the performing arts provided the inspiration for this organization.

Our goals are to provide assistance to performing artists of all ages, from young beginners to seasoned professionals, and to foster interest in the performing arts — especially puppetry —through performances and events.
